Our company has streamlined each of our processes to improve delivery times. After you place your order, it is entered into our ERP system. Then, it goes straight to the process engineer to be prepared to begin working on it. Once the order is complete, it will follow a barcoded traveler throughout the facility to be post-processed, inspected, and shipped to you. Thanks to this efficiency, most deliveries can be completed in just 1-2 days.
Rapid tooling is capable of producing highly accurate parts. We have developed proprietary calibration methods for each technology over the years that we have been in business. We can help you select the best rapid tooling method to give you the most accurate result for your prototype or product.
The finishes available will differ depending on the technology and the material that you select. You may be able to add other finishes to the final product, including polishes, vapor honed, textured, stained, painted, or plated.
Our online ordering system is fully integrated with our ERP system, which means that your order and any files and additional information you provided will be automatically input into our order entry system. Plus, you can check the status of your jobs and track your parts after they have been shipped.
We understand that you need to work within your budget, which is why we have worked to reduce production costs for you wherever possible — without cutting corners. From order placement to material purchasing and shipment, we do everything quickly and accurately. Consequently, we can offer you very competitive pricing for your rapid tooling order.
Since 1990 when we purchased our first SLA machine, SICAM has been focused on producing quality parts. Our employees are the reason for our success, and they have extensive backgrounds in model making, prototyping, engineering, tooling, and manufacturing, giving you the best result for your project. They always keep quality and production control top-of-mind.
Beyond just 3D printing, our company has a complete model shop. This enables us to prepare patterns, as well as paint and texture parts, install threaded inserts, and apply deco and printing on any of your parts. We also have the capability to create large assemblies and fixture multiple parts. Last minute design change? Don’t worry. Often, our model makers can implement your change without creating a new part.
We work with an array of materials, including both flexible and rigid materials, metals and plastics, and more. If you need your prototype created in your final production material, we can accommodate that with our Precision Modular Tooling (PMT) approach. We’d be happy to assist you with choosing the best material and rapid tooling service for your project.
If you need a large part, we are capable of producing single parts as large as 36” x 36” x 18”. Plus, our experts can align and bond multiple parts together if an even larger part is required for your project.
Sicam specializes in short run production. By either using 3D Printing, Urethane Casting, CNC Machining or Injection Molding. Whatever your low volume production needs are we can provide the solution.
It depends on quantites, material and part size. Contact a Sicam Tecnical Sales person to help you decide on the correct technology to use.
